My name is Mª Cruz and behind Cruz Cerámica there's a story that began four years ago in a pottery workshop in the south of Madrid.
What began as curiosity gradually turned into a necessity: the need to create with my hands, to pause time, and to find a form of expression in clay. Since then, I have continued my training in various workshops, learned techniques, experimented, made many mistakes, but above all, I have found my own way of doing things, my rhythm, my understanding of ceramics.
Each piece is born from that process. From touching the clay, from listening to what it asks for, and from letting the forms emerge, always seeking a balance between technique and sensitivity.
At Cruz Cerámica, the artistic, the decorative, and the everyday coexist. Because I believe that the objects we use every day can also have soul, texture, and presence.
This project is, at its core, a way to live more slowly. To value the handmade, the imperfect, the unique.
